Waterborne Finish
Forteko Fast Sealer is a fast-drying, easy-to-sand waterborne wood sealant designed to minimize grain rise, making it ideal for use with Forteko waterborne floor finishes. This product ensures a smooth base for subsequent finishing steps, delivering optimal results in wood finishing projects. It dries very fast in all climates.

Directions for Use
To use Fast Sealer, first sand the floor according to NWFA recommendations, finishing with 180-grit sandpaper. Vacuum the floor thoroughly to remove dust. Apply Fast Sealer evenly with a roller, T-bar, or brush, allowing it to dry completely before proceeding. Once dry, lightly sand with 180-grit sandpaper and clean the surface with a dry tack cloth or vacuum. This process prepares the floor for the application of a Forteko waterborne wood floor finish.

Application
Fast Sealer can be applied using a lightweight T-bar applicator, roller,or brush. For best results on bare, unstained wood floors, use Fast Sealer finish with Forteko Sealers, following label instructions.
For New or sanded floors
Fast Sealer provides coverage of approximately 400-500 square feet per gallon, depending on the tools used and the type of wood. It has a quick dry time of 30 to 60 minutes at 70°F and 50% relative humidity, making it suitable for efficient workflows. Fast Sealer can be applied using a roller, T-bar, or brush, and tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use. For long-term storage, an unopened container remains effective for up to 12 months and should be kept between 50°F and 85°F. You are able to do 1 or 2 coats of Fast Sealer.
Confirm the floor is free of grease, oil, and dirt. Once done, screen the floor with a No. 180 grit screen. Do not apply Fusion 1k over surfaces previously finished with shellac, lacquer, wax, or stains containing stearates. Then, apply the Fusion 1K using the same method as for new floors.
